AC Milan's director, Geoffrey Moncada, spoke to the microphones of DAZN ahead of the start of Torino - Milan match.
What did you say to each other after the elimination?
"After a match like that, it's very difficult—we're disappointed. We returned to Milanello and spoke with the players individually, as well as with the staff and the coach. It's important to be with them. Even today, we spoke at the hotel. We're together, we need to do much better and achieve something important today and on Thursday."
How important was Sergio Conceição’s opinion in the transfer market?
"You know how we work—to always find solutions. I have to do it with the coach. I spoke with him and watched many videos; working together is always important, just as we did with Fonseca before."
Do you agree with Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he says this team is stronger than the one that won the Scudetto?
"I don’t know if it was stronger. We changed a lot, and that was three years ago—it's difficult to compare. We have more options, a stronger bench. The team is interesting, and for the Scudetto-winning squad, we worked for three years. This team, we started building last year."
How crucial is securing fourth place?
"We must achieve this goal. The others have dropped points—we have to win tonight, and Thursday is also very important. We have chances, motivation, and we want to get back on track immediately."
