Milan is once again the protagonist of yet another flop in the league and of the season for the Rossoneri.

Even today, the Rossoneri practically scores two goals on its own and fails to do better than a single goal in the second half, also missing a penalty in the first. The winners are the Granata with a 2-1 victory.

The Curva Sud, after singing during the match and at the end of the first half: "Grow some balls, show some balls"; at the final whistle, they direct another harsh chant at the team that came under the away section: "Go to work".

Torino - Milan; how did the first half go?

Milan kicks off the match in a nearly sold-out stadium. The game starts in the worst possible way for the Rossoneri, as they concede a freak own goal just five minutes in. A deep ball is played toward Sanabria, but Thiaw has the advantage and shields Maignan’s exit. As the French goalkeeper reaches the edge of the area to clear the ball, he unintentionally strikes his German teammate, and the ball slowly rolls into the net, giving Torino the lead. Own goal and 1-0.

Milan reacts and comes close to scoring in the 21st minute with Gimenez: a brilliant close-passing play between Pulisic and Joao Felix sets up the number 7, who fires a shot inside the box, but Milinkovic-Savic makes a superb save to push it out for a corner.

The biggest chance for Milan to equalize comes in the 33rd minute when Pulisic steps up for a penalty. Leao won the spot-kick a minute earlier after heading the ball at the far post and hitting Pedersen’s outstretched arm. The American takes the shot, aiming with his right foot, but Milinkovic-Savic reads it perfectly and stops it in two attempts.

Torino nearly doubles their lead in the 38th minute with a chaotic sequence involving Maripan and Pedersen. Maripan fails to connect with the ball from close range after a corner, and the ball falls to Pedersen at the penalty spot, but his shot is denied by Maignan. The Milan keeper produces another outstanding save in the 39th minute, deflecting a Vlasic shot from inside the box with one hand.

Milan has a potential chance on the counterattack in the 41st minute, as Reijnders drives forward to the edge of the box but misplaces his through ball to Leao. After one minute of added time, the teams head into the locker rooms with Torino leading 1-0.

Torino - Milan; the second half

Sergio Conceicao makes a bold halftime decision, substituting Leao for Fofana.

The first big chance of the second half falls to Fofana in the 57th minute, as he shoots from the edge of the box following an Abraham layoff, but Milinkovic-Savic parries it away. Milan threatens again in the 61st minute with Joao Felix’s curling effort from the edge of the area, but the Torino goalkeeper denies him once more.

A golden opportunity for Milan comes in the 64th minute: Pulisic threads a pass to Reijnders, who cuts inside at the edge of the box, enters the area, and shoots with his right foot, but Milinkovic-Savic makes a crucial save with his foot to deflect it over the bar. Another close call follows in the 65th minute, as Jimenez’s long-range strike skims just past the post.

In the 69th minute, Joao Felix nearly finds the net, but his left-footed shot hits the outside of the post. Torino responds with substitutions, and in the 71st minute, Gineitis fires just wide with his left foot after being set up by Karamoh.

Milan finally finds the equalizer in the 74th minute. The move starts on the left with Sottil, who has just come on. He delivers a low cross into the box, where Abraham lays it off for Reijnders, who strikes a precise left-footed shot under the crossbar. 1-1.

But Torino regains the lead just three minutes later. In the 77th minute, Sanabria takes a quick free kick from 25 meters out, finding Gineitis, who fires a low left-footed shot into the bottom corner. 2-1.

In the four minutes of stoppage time, Milan gets one last chance with a dangerous header from Pavlovic, but it goes wide. The match ends 2-1. Another frustrating defeat with fans rightfully angry.
