"Milan crazy, desperate, and furious"
This was the front-page headline of Tuttosport this morning, the day after the Rossoneri’s home defeat against Lazio. This marks Milan’s third consecutive loss in Serie A, causing them to drop to ninth place in the standings and, for now, leaving them out of all European competitions.

Once again, the team completely failed in their approach to the match, conceding a goal in the first half scored by Zaccagni. In the second half, Milan showed a strong reaction despite being down to ten men after Pavlovic was sent off, with Chukwueze scoring the equalizer. However, in stoppage time, Pedro secured a 2-1 victory for Lazio from a highly controversial penalty, sparking major protests from the Rossoneri.
After the match, Sergio Conceição spoke about his team’s situation in the press conference, saying:
"It’s not easy. There are many incidents that happen and turn out to be decisive for the match. The atmosphere wasn’t easy for the players, and it showed: it’s not that they didn’t want to win, because we saw that in the second half; even with a numerical disadvantage, we tried to win the game, playing with one man down and with two days less rest than Lazio. We are the Italian team that has played the most matches, and that must be considered. Losing like this is not easy. We have to show our pride and work at our maximum in every aspect. We need to find balance and solidity within the team so that in moments like these, we don’t concede goals and can be more clinical in the final 30 meters. We could have made it 2-1 before the penalty if we had been fresher. But the attitude and the will to win were there, and that leaves me satisfied."
