According to Corriere della Sera this morning, a decisive week begins today at Milan for the selection of the new sporting director. The club’s preferred choice was Andrea Berta, but the Rossoneri moved too late, and the former Atlético Madrid director is now heading toward the Premier League.
Leading the race for Milan now is Igli Tare, former Lazio director, with Fabio Paratici in second place. As for the choice of the coach for next season, a decision will only be made once the new sporting director is appointed.

Regarding the new director, Giorgio Furlani, Milan’s CEO, stated yesterday to DAZN before the match against Lazio:
"As I said, we need to significantly improve our sporting results. If there are individuals we can bring to the club who will help us achieve the results we want, we will consider them. At the moment, no decision has been made on this matter."
