There are many difficulties encountered especially in the midfield and defence. The defensive transition lacks sharpness and strong reactions against opponents and in the first half, the visitors really struggled and by watching them, you'd understand why the team has been sitting in 9th position in the Serie A standings.

For Lecce, it was Nikola Krstovic who opened the score before doubling it, and making it a brace for himself, therefore. The first was scored in the 7th minute mark while the second was at around the 59th minute.

Milan does not give up

The play style does not encourage the fans much, but finally some character shown. The Rossoneri players did not lose hope and kept fighting, especially with Rafael Leao's entry who added more dynamism in attack.

The first goal for the red and black team was ruled an own goal for Lecce's Antonino Gallo. Then, it was Christian Pulisic who scored a brace thanks to goals in the 73rd minute (penalty) and in the 81st minute.

Three important points are achieved. The fans, however, would like a calmer match next time. There are several negative points to be studied and analysed despite obtaining the full points against Marco Giampaolo's team.
