"For the entire first half yesterday, Milan did not look like a team."
This is how Fabio Capello, former Rossoneri coach, spoke about Milan-Como 2-1. His opinion to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport':
"They limited themselves to playing exclusively on the counterattack, and Como dominated the game until halftime. Milan, set up a bit 'like this' on the field: without pressing and without ball possession, gave the impression of relying solely on counterattacks. Above all, it was clear how Conceiçao's men were passive and out of rhythm for 45 minutes compared to the opponents; it was obvious they were waiting for the ball to create counterattack opportunities."

Capello added:
"In the second half, at least, the desire was noticeable, but not the play. In this team, for example, Fofana simply cannot stay on the bench. And similarly, I continue to wonder why Tomori is not part of the starting defense. My impression is that this team lacks personality. Walker himself, who has always been a player who attacked and moved forward, seemed very passive since arriving in Milan. To sum up, in my opinion, after yesterday’s 90 minutes, Milan can be happy with the result and little more. In the second half, they showed determination and a will to act, but the fact remains that in the first half, the attitude was really too passive: seeing Conceiçao’s Milan on the field like that is sad, in my opinion," as relayed via PianetaMilan.it
On Theo Hernandez, Capello said:
"I would like to make a note about Theo Hernandez: in the first half, the Frenchman was crucial twice as Como exposed themselves to counterattacks, which is why I don’t quite understand why he decided to take him off at halftime and put Jimenez in his place. However, a credit must absolutely be given to Pulisic and Reijnders, as they continue to prove themselves as players with an extra gear."
