Today's edition of Tuttosport headlines this morning about the new stadium project for Milan and Inter:
"New San Siro, the land issue."
A few days ago, the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the sale of San Siro and the surrounding areas to the two clubs.

Meanwhile, since November, a case has been open at the Court of Auditors, led by Paolo Evangelista.
"The 'accounting' prosecutors, who met with their Milanese colleagues on Tuesday evening for an exchange of information, are focusing on the valuation by the Revenue Agency: €73 million for the stadium and €124 million for the surrounding areas.
These figures have been significantly lowered due to the stadium's obsolescence and the area's conditions, as explained by the tax authority. For example, the stadium alone suffers a depreciation of around €158 million.
However, it is mainly the valuation of the land that does not convince the prosecutors. First of all, the land on which the Meazza stands is valued at just over €400 per square meter, whereas in December 2024, the municipal council set a price of over €600 per square meter for the nearby racecourse grounds," writes the Turin-based newspaper.
