Matteo Moretto, journalist from Relevo speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, had this to say about the matter of AC Milan’s new sporting director:
"There were reports saying that Paratici would become Milan’s new sporting director and that it was just a matter of making it official. But that’s not the case — it wasn’t a done deal or even close to being finalized. The parties weren’t even one step away from an agreement. New talks are expected, but Paratici is dealing with a very delicate personal legal situation. Milan was obviously aware of that."
Moretto added:
"From what I know, Milan will continue holding talks to choose their new sporting director. The Paratici situation wasn’t as it had been portrayed. Milan wants to find the right profile to add to their organizational structure, which will not change — meaning that Moncada, who has a contract until 2026, will stay at Milan, and Furlani will continue as CEO. Once the sporting director is chosen, all the other decisions will follow, starting with the one regarding the head coach."
