This is how Carlo Pellegatti, a Rossoneri fan, spoke about Milan’s search for a sporting director and about Antonio Conte. Here are his words on YouTube:
"The phrase by Antonio Conte (‘I understood that in Naples you can’t do many things’) was highlighted. Some are running with it, thinking of a farewell. I’ll just say one thing: if this is a sign of discomfort or a phrase expressing discomfort... Milan is in great difficulty, and with Conte possibly free on the market, if Milan didn’t get him, the fans would go crazy."

Then Pellegatti gives an update on the sporting director:
"According to Sky, the odds for Tony D’Amico are rising. Talking with a few friends from Bergamo, Atalanta has strengthened its international area. D’Amico has always been Giorgio Furlani’s favorite. Gasperini? I don’t know what their relationship is like. D’Amico is currently the favorite, but that would mean Milan staying put, with the risk of starting at the end of May since D’Amico is under contract with Atalanta. We’ll then have to understand whether Conte will really leave Napoli. That Milan would take him or Allegri—I’d have to see it with my own eyes, it would really seem strange to me. D’Amico remains in pole position."
