Former Nerazzurri player Luis Figo told the notebooks of today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport about Inter:
"Inter is not just a team that defends well, anyone who thinks that is very wrong. Inzaghi's team is fighting for the treble, with the first piece of that triangle to be won tonight in the Coppa Italia derby against Milan, and they do so by playing at an excellent level. They have an Italian soul that makes them defend diligently, which has meant they've conceded very few goals in the Champions League, but then in the attacking phase they have many players capable of making the difference.”

Figo then weighed in on his compatriots Paulo Fonseca and Sérgio Conceição, who have had several problems on Milan's bench:
"And what coach doesn't have them? I speak as an outside observer, but I think that if there is a certain instability in the club, the first person to notice it and pay for it is the coach."
