Is Milan moving towards confirming the current corporate structure?

Over the course of the current season, the Milan executives have understood that the role of the sporting director is fundamental and cannot be absent in a glorious club like the Rossoneri.

The sporting director is not an easy figure to identify. As reported by Corriere dello Sport, in fact, the leading name was Fabio Paratici, and until yesterday, the odds were rising for Tony D’Amico (sporting director of Atalanta), who is highly appreciated by Furlani. Unfortunately, however, Percassi, CEO of the Bergamo club, has locked down his sporting director by declaring that he will have the enormous task of creating, once again, a competitive team.

Among the circle of management associates, there are also Gerry Cardinale, the owner of the club, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, senior advisor. While the former, a few days ago, was in Italy precisely to try, unsuccessfully, to mend the rift with Paratici, the latter instead put forward Igli Tare, former sporting director of Lazio, as his first choice. Furlani also met with the former Lazio man but without a 100% positive outcome.

There remains a percentage, not even that low, that could see the confirmation of the current corporate structure. This hypothesis does not seem so unlikely, especially because Moncada is studying precisely to take on that role within a club, as relayed by MilanPress.it.
