The official confirmation of this plan is expected tomorrow, with the only exception being Genoa vs. Atalanta, which could be moved to Saturday, May 17 at 8:45 PM CET if Atalanta secures mathematical qualification for the next edition of the Champions League.
By having all the matches played at the same time, the tension surrounding the intertwined battles for the Scudetto, Champions League spots, Europa League qualification, and relegation fight would be heightened.
It is therefore very likely that Milan will return to the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening after the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday, as they are set to face Roma over the weekend in a Serie A fixture, an important rival in the race for fourth place.
