Former AC Milan defender Filippo Galli has spoken to Milan's twitch channel about club's defensive mentality. Here are his words:
“Milan thinks about defending themselves based on how they attack and is one of the few teams in Italy that has this mentality. There is therefore a need for players who know how to defend on the open field, who know how to read the development of the game and who know how to set up. In other countries they have already gone further, we are still discussing construction from behind. In reality, when you build from the bottom, you know how to defend better; with Napoli we conceded goals because we didn't climb well with the defenders, without blaming other things."
