AC Milan announces a summer friendly against Leeds United, newly promoted to the Premier League. The match will take place on Saturday, 9 August at 3:00 PM (local time) at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin – a world-class venue with over 50,000 seats located in the heart of the Irish capital.
This fixture is part of the men’s First Team’s pre-season schedule, following the conclusion of the Pre-Season Tour 2025, which will see the team travel across the Asia-Pacific region (Singapore, Hong Kong and Western Australia) from 20 July to 1 August.
The match was officially unveiled today at a media event at the Aviva Stadium, attended by AC Milan Brand Ambassador Daniele Massaro and Leeds United legend Gary Kelly, former Republic of Ireland full-back.
This fixture marks AC Milan’s first match in Ireland in five years. The Rossoneri last played in the country during the 2020/21 season, facing Shamrock Rovers in a UEFA Europa League qualifier. AC Milan and Leeds United have met three times in the past, including in the 2000/01 UEFA Champions League group stage, and most memorably in the 1973 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup final in Thessaloniki.
Tickets for the match will be available in pre-sale starting today, Tuesday 27 May, via Ticketmaster pre-sale link, with a general sale opening on Thursday, 29 May at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.
