Just minutes before the start of the event that will unveil the calendar for the 2025/2026 Serie A season, AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani spoke to the microphones of MilanNews.it:
"At the end of the season, we said we would make some announcements, and the week after the end of the season, we made a couple. We've restarted. The old season is closed, we're looking ahead, and we must do much, much better."
On choosing Massimiliano Allegri as Milan coach, Furlani commented:
"He's a winner. He has won 14 trophies in his career. No one has won more than him, so it couldn't have been better than this."
