Juventus is about to make its debut in the Club World Cup: the Bianconeri will kick off their tournament against Al Ain. Shortly before departing for the United States, the Old Lady made official the redemption from Milan of French defender Pierre Kalulu, who was one of the positive notes of Juve’s season this year.
Today, the former Rossoneri player was interviewed by Tuttosport and shared his thoughts on the international competition, also returning to the topic of Juventus’ payment of the buyout clause that allowed him to join the Bianconeri permanently.
Pierre Kalulu’s words on his permanent transfer to Juventus:
“How happy am I about the confirmation? Very much: on a human level, it’s nice to feel the trust of my teammates, the environment, and especially of such an important club like Juventus. Now I just have to go back to giving my all, like before. Fear of not being redeemed? I wouldn’t say so: I trust in my way of working. I always try to perform as much as possible on the pitch. I don’t think about decisions that aren’t up to me. The important thing is to be able to look yourself in the mirror and be at peace with yourself, knowing you gave everything.”
