AC Milan has secured the yes from Granit Xhaka, who is willing to embrace the Rossoneri project despite being a central figure in Bayer Leverkusen’s plans. Now, it will be up to the RedBird-owned club to negotiate with the German side in order to also obtain the club’s approval for the transfer.
According to what Tuttosport reports today, the Rossoneri will likely wait until July 1st — the opening day of the summer transfer window — to make the first concrete financial proposals. Why? The newspaper cites purely fiscal reasons.
