Stefano Castelnuovo, Manuel Locatelli's agent, granted an interview to Tuttosport in which he talked about the future of his client, many topics were discussed like a negotiation with Juventus that took during the summer. The agent was also asked about a possible return to Milan, he replied to the question with this:
"From day one Sassuolo believed in Manuel a lot, making him feel important. It was what they needed to take off after the early closure of their history with Milan. A return? He has grown up in the Rossoneri and will always be grateful to the club , but I think Manuel prefers a different experience, Italy or abroad makes no difference. The Champions League is the great dream. We hope that in the summer a gift will arrive, for him and for Sassuolo."
