It’s no secret that Milan are looking for a striker in this transfer window: as of today, several names have been linked to the Rossoneri—of all types, price tags, and degrees of feasibility.
Matteo Moretto, in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, provided an update on three profiles.
Here are his statements:
"As for Nico Jackson, Milan had new contacts today to try to delve deeper into the financial aspects of the deal, the economic feasibility of the operation. It’s difficult, but Nico Jackson has long been a favorite of Milan. And today Milan tried to dig a little deeper into the finer details of this situation. There have been talks, but the deal remains very complicated: for Chelsea, he is a player who could indeed leave the club, but only on Chelsea’s terms. We’ll see if Milan can actually meet those terms. Two days ago, I told you it’s a very, very complicated negotiation financially—we’ll see if there are any openings on that front."
"Mateta is a name that remains on the shortlist, along with Dusan Vlahovic and Victor Boniface, even though he is also a very difficult profile from a financial point of view. Mateta is definitely a name Allegri is considering: based on his characteristics, he’s an intriguing profile. As of today, he’s not a priority, but he’s a name that’s still on the list, like Vlahovic."
