The future of Ardon Jashari will be decided during this weekend of reflection.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport today, Milan have already put forward their offer: a total of €37 million, including €32 million in fixed fees, €3 million in easily achievable bonuses, and €2 million in more complex bonuses. However, the Belgian club continues to hold firm, demanding no less than €40 million, with at least €35 million in guaranteed payments. A recent visit to Milan by the Belgian executives—who met with Inter but not with Milan—highlighted the complexity of the negotiations.

But the deal isn’t just about money—it’s also about desire. For the Swiss midfielder, a move to Milan represents a lifelong dream and the first major step in his promising career. In recent hours, Jashari has reiterated to Club Brugge's management his clear intention to leave Belgium and move to Italy, making it clear that he is not willing to stay another year, as the club had hoped.
The situation is tense: Jashari did not take part in the friendly match against Rakow and has yet to train with the rest of the squad. His inclusion for Monday’s match is now in doubt, although Club Brugge expects him to honor his contractual obligations. Milan, for their part, will wait a few more days before considering alternatives. Igli Tare’s shortlist still includes Granit Xhaka and Javi Guerra, though both have attracted interest from other major clubs.
