Francesco Camarda, Lecce striker on loan from AC Milan, spoke during his introductory press conference:
How was the jump to senior football?
"I’m able to adapt to the pace fairly quickly. The transition from the youth sector to Milan Futuro and then to Serie A was quite a leap — it took me some time to adjust to the tempo. Serie C is a tough league, there’s a lot of physical contact. Technically, Serie A is on another level, but in terms of physicality, Serie C is more challenging."
He added:

"There’s less space and fewer chances to showcase yourself. The key to adapting to the rhythm this year will be training, especially against players like Baschirotto and Gaspar, who are physically dominant. That will help me a lot. Last year at Milan, I was training against players like Gabbia and Tomori — you have to raise your tempo and level. You improve in training, and in matches, you put into practice what you’ve learned."
Camarda, what are your thoughts on your move from Milan to Lecce?
"Milan is like a second home, but now I’m focused on the present and on Lecce."
What kind of relationship would you like to build with Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic?
"The relationship I’ll have with Nikola will be the same as with everyone else. I’m a humble guy — they’ll always see me working hard, and I’ll always be there for my teammates."
Is there a goalkeeper you’d like to score against?
"All of them. There’s no specific team I want to score against. The goal is to score as many goals as possible — I’ll try to score against every opponent."
