Regarding Milan’s transfer market situation, which currently sees the Rossoneri management pushing strongly for Christopher Nkunku, a name that emerged this evening as a target for coach Massimiliano Allegri’s attack, well-known journalist and transfer expert Matteo Moretto reported the following on his “X” account:
“There are ongoing negotiations between Milan and Chelsea for Christopher Nkunku. The deal to bring the French forward to Milan would be on a permanent basis, with the player giving his full willingness to sign for Milan.”
In fact, according to The Daily Telegraph, Nkunku is ready to accept a pay cut and is eager to play elsewhere, especially in a World Cup year. To bring him to Milan, the deal could take the form of a loan with an obligation to buy, with the final figure expected to be around £40–42 million.
