After two seasons on loan at Bologna and Roma, Alexis Saelemaekers has returned to Milan. With Allegri, he seems to have found both status and an important role in the squad. That is why the Rossoneri are already considering a contract renewal for the Belgian. Matteo Moretto spoke about it in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel. His words:
“Milan had already extended Saelemaekers’ contract before sending him on a straight loan to Roma, so it now runs until 2027. Keep an eye on the renewal because I’m told talks could resume in the coming months, in the coming weeks. Everything is at a standstill regarding Maignan.”
