Filippo Inzaghi, currently Palermo’s coach and a former Milan striker, gave an interview to Men's Health in which he recalled the 2007 Champions League final, won by Milan in Athens against Liverpool with a brace from SuperPippo:
"Sometimes I watch the brace in Athens again. For ten nights in a row, I woke up convinced I still had to play that match."
Inzaghi added:
"I was lucky to share the field with many extraordinary players: Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Seedorf. If I have to choose one, I say Kaká, because he was truly special. With him, we achieved something exceptional. Shevchenko was also formidable, and with Ibrahimovic, we formed a great pair. Nesta and Maldini? Luckily, they became my teammates."
