Fininvest has sold 80% of AC Monza to the American fund BLV.
The sale had been expected for several months and led historic figures of the Brianzolo club to leave, giving the new management full freedom. Among them is Adriano Galliani, who revealed the reasons for his decision in a long Instagram post yesterday, a choice both obvious and clearly painful.

Now the historic Italian executive is free on the market, although the sense is that his future is already somewhat determined. The Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera write that
"Galliani leaves and now waits for Milan…"
According to the latest reports, he could return in an institutional role, though not as CEO, which defined his entire remarkable career, as pointed out by those at Milan News.
