Peppe Di Stefano, Sky Sport reporter covering Milan, spoke on Radio Rossonera about which of Allegri’s players has impressed him most at the start of the season:
"Who impressed me the most? Tomori. He was the symbol of a player who did well when there was a strong club structure, then sat through last year’s Milan where nothing worked, and now he’s doing well again. What remains a mystery for me is what Theo Hernandez could have done in a team like this with a coach like Allegri. I’m convinced he would have motivated and recovered him as well. The coach hasn’t pulled any tactical switch, he worked on the players’ mentality. Gabbia-Pavlovic-Tomori is not that different from the Scudetto defense, but Allegri has the remedies to overcome problems and the players are following him closely."

On Milan's winger Alexis Saelemaekers:
"For me it was madness to let him go for two years. This season he has had an impact, last season he did great at Roma, two years ago the same at Bologna, and in his first spell at Milan he brought trophies. I know that as soon as Allegri saw the first training sessions he said ‘he’s untouchable’."
"Scudetto? The coach has always said, even at Juventus, to wait until March. For me Milan this year is serious business. I agree with those who say Milan don’t have a squad to dominate the league, but they have the right qualities to do what Pioli did.”
