Luca Bianchin, journalist, wrote the following on gazzetta.it about Allegri's AC Milan team ahead of the match against Juventus:
"Allegri says he prefers to coach two matches a week instead of one, and those who know him well confirm it. He tends to get bored during long afternoons at the training center, while he thrives when preparing for a big match. The single weekly fixture, though, has so far helped balance energy, reduce injuries (a key factor), and arrive ready for the game."
Bianchin continued:
"Not by chance, apart from the odd case against Cremonese, Milan have always started the first half well while giving the impression of having clear ideas and a strong desire to put them into practice. The good news for Allegri, in terms of the title race, is that the advantage is set to grow. Energy reserves will be even more important in winter."
