On his YouTube channel, Alfredo Pedullà spoke about the match at the Juventus Stadium that ended in a goalless draw between Juventus and Milan.
“It was not a great spectacle, the draw leaves Milan with huge regrets, while Juventus, generally speaking, does not lose points. Milan will regret it a lot because they wasted three massive chances, the penalty and the two squandered by Leao. The first half was worth a 4.5, ugly match, teams afraid, Milan needed to play like that, Juventus had to control possession. But in the second half Milan were much better, after the penalty miss they woke up and wasted the impossible. Modric’s spectacular pass deserved a different finish, all it needed was a better angled shot. In the first half there were very few risks, maybe only David’s chance. I don’t recall any big moves from Juventus.”
On Milan winger Rafael Leao:
“A player with his qualities cannot come into the game that poorly. My theory remains the same, he must have the hunger expected of players at such an important club. Because if we want to be precise, even the first chance, from a difficult angle, that is still a goal. He fails to beat the goalkeeper at the near post, but if he shoots across he scores at the far post. The weak shot off target from that position is unacceptable, you cannot miss the goal from there.”
