Fabrizio Biasin, in his usual column on TMW, spoke like this about Milan - Como being played in Australia:
"It’s Milan - Como’s turn, set to be played on the other side of the world. And that’s fine, we’re not naive and we understand everyone’s reasons, but at least don’t feed us the fairy tale of ‘there’s great excitement in Australia’ or ‘in Perth they can’t wait’ or ‘in the end it’s not even that far’ or ‘we’re doing it to explore new markets.'"
"No, all nonsense. There’s no Australian market to explore, and in Australia nobody cares about us, zero. They’re going to Perth only to pick up some quick cash, one shot, and that’s it. And again, that’s fine, but let’s call things what they are."
