Yunus Musah, a midfielder who moved from Milan to Atalanta on loan with an option to buy this summer, granted a long interview to L'Eco di Bergamo, explaining why he chose the Nerazzurri club:
"As an opponent, I always considered Atalanta a tough and well-organized team. I wanted to continue my growth at a top club, and Atalanta is one. Playing in the Champions League is a huge motivation, as is the trust I immediately felt from Percassi, D'Amico, and Juric. It was the right place for me. As soon as I arrived, I understood why Atalanta is so respected: here, work is serious, with humility and a spirit of sacrifice. Every player wants to give everything for their teammates. It's a positive energy you feel every day in training."
Regarding his preferred role and personal goals, USMNT player Musah added:
"I like being in midfield, where I can combine defensive duties with build-up play. But I am ready to adapt on the wings or behind the strikers. Here, there are players like Ederson, de Roon, and Pasalic, from whom I am learning a lot. On a personal level, I want to become more decisive in the final meters, scoring and providing more assists. I know I can do better in the offensive phase, and I am working to become a complete midfielder."
