Il Corriere dello Sport, for this morning's print edition, published the following headline:
"Milan, hunt for goals. The forwards are missing"

At the start of this season, the Rossoneri strikers, Santiago Gimenez and Christopher Nkunku, are struggling to score. Both are still goalless in the league and have only one goal each in the Coppa Italia. If the Rossoneri want to truly compete for the Scudetto, their forwards need to start scoring consistently soon.
After the home draw against Pisa, Max Allegri commented to DAZN on his forwards’ performances:
"Leao played a good match. The more he is involved in the game, the better. He has the physical and technical qualities to play as a first or second striker. When Nkunku came on, they combined very well. It’s a shame because there was a good chance to go 2-1. Gimenez moved well in the first half. But I think we were a bit stretched when out of possession. In the second half we were at least compact, then the penalty… We need to work."
