Today's edition of the Italian newspaper Tuttosport headlines ahead of Sunday evening's Milan-Roma match at San Siro venue:
"Dovbyk and Gimenez, they are sliding doors"
It is no secret that in the summer the two clubs tried to arrange a swap between Artem Dovbyk and Santiago Gimenez, but in the end a full agreement was not reached, so the deal fell through.
The two strikers, who are certainly not really in great form (the Ukrainian has at least scored two league goals, while the Mexican is still goalless), could have faced each other in this match wearing each other's shirts.
