After the 2-2 draw against Parma, Massimiliano Allegri spoke to Sky:
On the match:
"We threw away two points. I don’t know how it would have ended if we had gone into halftime 2-0. We came back on the pitch dazed, completely asleep. When you’re 2-0 up, you can’t concede a goal like that in the 48th minute, you have to clear the ball into the stands. We needed to keep playing with more focus."
On Pervis Estupiñán’s mistake, Allegri said:
“He was coming back from an injury. He also saved a goal. You can’t blame one player or another.”
On Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic:
"They did well, even in preseason. We need to get Rabiot and everyone else back to better fitness. Against Pisa, Cremonese, and Parma we took only two points, we’ve thrown away seven.”
On the comeback suffered, Allegri commented:
"Inside the box we were sluggish, too many balls went through with ease. In those moments of the match you have to fight, then start playing again.”
On Rafael Leao’s position:
"In the end he also played as a striker. Tonight we had several chances to score. In the first half we could have managed possession better. We need to improve our reading of the games.”
