AC Milan's boss, Massimiliano Allegri spoke to the media in a press conference following the 2-2 draw against Parma.
Against Atalanta, Roma, and Parma, there were several minutes where Milan was overwhelmed...
"Paradoxically, we conceded far more chances tonight than against Atalanta and Roma. The 1-2 was an unexpected event and shifted the momentum of the game. We needed to stay alert and defend, but we failed. We were dazed. This is a step we need to take because against Cremonese, Pisa, and Parma we only earned two points. Against Pisa we should have closed the game. Today, considering the incident that could happen, in the second half, even knowing their pressure, we couldn’t withstand it. It led to 2-2. Maignan made a great save, and then we had three chances. We are disappointed and angry. Now there’s the break, we will recover. We need to be calmer and more composed during certain moments. We were caught unprepared, for them it seemed too easy," as relayed via Milan News.

Pervis Estupinan had a poor game.
"Estupinan was coming back, he was in good condition, I thought he could contribute more with his experience and in challenges. He made a naive mistake on the goal, but later saved the ball on the 1-2. Tomori still had discomfort after Bergamo, but De Winter is a reliable player anyway. It’s not about individuals, but about failing to realize at a moment that we needed to reignite and fight for 10-15 minutes. Once that wave passed, it would have been much easier."
Do you suffer from overconfidence?
"The more games you play, the more experience you gain to understand moments of the match. We played well in the first half, but even then there were minutes where we didn’t manage the ball properly."
Assessment? Allegri responded in the following way:
"We are in a good league position, but many points are still needed to enter the top four. Tonight is disappointing because, given how things went, we shouldn’t have conceded that 1-2 and shouldn’t have behaved that way under their pressure. When you are ahead, you shouldn’t let the momentum change, when you are behind, you must change it yourself."
