The young Milan goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani, present today at the Gran Galà - 3rd Italo Galbiati Trophy, was interviewed by Sky Sport 24.
Here is what he said:
Do you dream of playing in a derby?
“Definitely for me. Being from Milan and having gone through the entire youth system at Milan, playing in a derby is one of my biggest dreams.”

Do you remember any past derbies?
"I have vague memories, I was really small. There have been some memorable ones, like last year’s, when I was even on the bench. It was exciting."
On Mike Maignan:
"He’s a great goalkeeper, but before being a goalkeeper, he’s a person: he’s a true professional, the first to arrive and the last to leave. He has strong focus on his goals and he’s helping me be more consistent in training."
Torriani, who is your goalkeeping role model? Saying Maignan is easy…
"I’d say Courtois. He’s doing extraordinary things with Real Madrid. Over time he has improved a lot."
Your Champions League debut against Liverpool, what memories do you carry?
"The final hug with Alisson… I came in and immediately conceded a goal. He comforted me, it was emotional. I had always watched him on TV, seeing him up close was fantastic."
