As January’s transfer window approaches, rumors about potential reinforcements for the squad are growing, and many names have been linked to the Rossoneri, all very different from one another. While many see the attack as the key area to strengthen, Fabrizio Biasin, a journalist and Inter fan, disagrees. He considers Milan’s offensive line complete, despite the few goals scored so far, particularly by Santi Gimenez. Here is what he said about Milan’s main target for the January market:
“The squad is well-equipped for the season Milan is having. Everyone focuses on individual numbers, but the coach has to evaluate the whole team. Four players for two positions, midfielders who score, Rabiot returning and surely bringing some goals, endless options in my view. Ideally, a 20-goal striker would be best, but before signing a random player in January, I would wait a thousand times. Last year Inter played 65 matches, and the backups weren’t up to par. Milan doesn’t face that this year. They don’t score much right now, but that’s just now. The best Milan I saw had Gimenez on the pitch doing important work. The problem is whether Gimenez is committed to doing that work. If he is, Milan is fine. In my opinion, Milan should focus more on a defender.”
