Commenting on the derby held Sunday evening at San Siro, which saw the Rossoneri win 1-0, Fabio Caressa discussed not only Milan's performance but also the match played by Bartesaghi, a youth player making his first start in the derby. Bartesaghi delivered an excellent performance, very focused defensively, which caught the attention of the Sky journalist. Here is his comment:
"Bartesaghi was chosen by Allegri, who we know has great faith in him. Allegri values his freshness, attitude, tactical awareness, someone who pushes forward but stays very attentive in defense, which gives him important reliability when playing with a low line. I believe he will continue to play and might be rotated at times. But already earning Allegri’s trust, who pays close attention to technical as well as tactical aspects, is a big step forward."
