Milan need a response tonight away at Torino after Inter and Napoli won against Como and Juventus. A win would put Milan back at the top with Napoli and give them a gap over the other teams chasing the leading spots, such as Roma and Bologna. The trip is tough, because Milan have won only once in their last twelve visits to Torino.

Allegri knows this well. He warned his squad yesterday in his press conference, saying that even if Torino are not in strong form, playing there is always difficult. He also faces the likely absence of one of his key players, Christian Pulisic, who was hit by a fever overnight between Saturday and today. In fact, La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper reports this morning that a decision will be taken based on his condition, and at best he might recover enough for the bench.
Christopher Nkunku steps in for AC Milan:
He starts again next to Rafael Leao, because Santiago Gimenez will miss another match even though his ankle issue is solved. Allegri said yesterday: "The ankle is fine, we expect him back with the group next week, he scored a lot at Feyenoord, he has not forgotten how to do it." Nkunku still needs his first Serie A goal. Allegri pushed him to raise his level: "He has extraordinary technical quality, he must believe he can be decisive." Milan hope he starts showing that tonight.
