Fabio Capello was interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport to discuss the Serie A title race, with four teams (Inter, Milan, Napoli, and Roma) three points apart. Here are his impressions.
On the title race:
"Inter favorite? Yes: they have more players and can rest, for example, ThuLa, using substitutes that no other competitor has in the squad. Good rotation, which allows the team to maintain its level, can bring important results. Milan and Napoli do not have replacements of the same level, although I put the Azzurri behind Inter once they recover all injured players. The others will fight for a Champions League spot."

Capello on Milan:
"It’s a strange team: it struggles against opponents it should dominate on paper, while it does not play with the same focus it maintains against the big teams. It is losing important points. Even the goal disallowed for Pulisic against Sassuolo is something that happens only in Italy, with these referees and VAR who understand little about football. It is not ballet, where the first push is whistled as a foul. But Sunday’s possession was sterile, too sideways, boring," as relayed via Milan Press.
Capello concludes:
"Much will depend on the results Inter, Napoli, and Juve get in the Champions League, as well as Roma in the Europa League, who still remain in the fight. In this respect, the favorite remains Milan: having the chance to focus only on the league, without European competitions, Supercoppa, or Coppa Italia, is a huge advantage."
