Why Milan Wants Fullkrug in January:

The Rossoneri have targeted the German striker leaving West Ham, with full openness from the player.

AC Milan’s top priority in the January transfer window is to secure a starting striker, someone who can guarantee goals and consistent performance, something Santiago Gimenez has not yet provided. The Mexican striker’s experience at Milan has struggled to take off. For this reason (regardless of what happens with the former Feyenoord player) sporting director Igli Tare is already working to strengthen the attack. The name he is focusing on is Niclas Fullkrug, a 1993-born German striker leaving West Ham, who has already shown willingness to move to Serie A.

The plan:

Fullkrug’s profile satisfies everyone at Milanello, both coach and management: an experienced, low-cost signing. He would arrive on loan, but it is still unclear whether a purchase option or obligation would be included. A straight temporary deal without conditions for a permanent move is also possible. Compared to other profiles considered, the German striker represents the easiest target to secure quickly, which is why Tare has already started moving and is expected to make an official offer to West Ham in the coming days.

By the way, while you many fans are waiting for the next AC Milan match, some may explore platforms like the https://dafbet-app.in/ which offer comprehensive coverage and options to follow the action closely.

Fullrug-Milan and the 2024 Backstory:

Fullkrug has long been a Milan target. The club first considered him in 2024 when he played for Borussia Dortmund and was enjoying continuity. Milan had analyzed the player and investigated the cost, but Dortmund’s asking price was too high, so the club opted for Alvaro Morata that summer. Fullkrug moved to West Ham for €32 million (Milan had spent €17 million on Morata), but his English adventure has not gone well. For this reason, the German striker is ready for a change and has already opened the door to Milan, according to Calcio Mercato.

Milan, Not Just Fullkrug: Advancing for Andrej Kostic, Vlahovic's Successor at Partizan:

A Montenegrin at Milan is significant, evoking memories of Savicevic. Milan is negotiating for Andrej Kostic, a 2007-born striker from Podgorica currently playing for Partizan Belgrade. He could be a January market reinforcement for Milan, which promises to be active: likely Fullkrug’s arrival, expected on loan with a purchase option, and at least one or two young talents to bring to Milanello. Arizala reported recently that Kostic is currently the most active forward target.

Who is Andrej Kostic?

Kostic can play as either a central or second striker. He has a strong physique, standing at 188 cm, and is developing quickly. In the summer, he moved from Buducnost to Partizan, where he has been compared to Dusan Vlahovic, and has adapted well, as relayed via Gazzetta. This season, he has already scored 8 goals in the Serbian league, making him the team’s second-highest scorer. On September 5, he scored for Italy-Montenegro U21 in La Spezia, giving Montenegro an early lead before Lipani and Koleosho reversed the result.

Kostic-Milan: Cost

Negotiations are underway but not finalized; more details should emerge in the coming days. His valuation is likely between €5-10 million, with Milan Futuro possibly involved as a partial destination. Kostic is not yet ready to make an impact in the first team. If he arrives, he would gain minutes in Serie D while having the chance to catch Allegri's attention. January, despite appearances, has already begun.
