With Mike Maignan’s contract expiring on June 30, AC Milan is looking around for a new goalkeeper in case the Frenchman leaves at the end of this season. Among the profiles monitored by the Rossoneri is Noah Atubolu, a 2002-born goalkeeper from Freiburg. The German gave a long interview to Sky Sport DE in which he spoke about his future:
"My future? I will definitely play the second half of the season wearing Freiburg's shirt."
Atubolu then described what the perfect goalkeeper would be like:
"For shot-stopping, I would choose Donnarumma. For leadership, clearly Manuel Neuer, and for feet, Ederson. I still find it difficult to compose the perfect goalkeeper, but there are some keepers I like and am watching, such as Manu Neuer or Mike Maignan."
