Fabio Capello has recently spoken to La Gazzetta dello Sport to share his views on the current league season and, above all, on the intense battle at the top of the table, on a scale rarely seen in recent times.
Fabio Capello commented on Milan’s opportunity to play their cards in the league without the burden of other commitments, such as European competitions, unlike their rivals:
"The absence of other competitions helps Milan a lot, they are also out of the Coppa Italia. I expect Allegri to sort out the problems they have had against smaller teams, also taking advantage of a lighter fixture list. And it should not be underestimated that cups sometimes drain enthusiasm or leave negative after-effects."
