There are constant updates on the centre-back front in what are proving to be the hottest final hours of Milan’s transfer window.
Many names have been mentioned, but the standout one, at least in the eyes of sporting director Igli Tare, appears to be French defender Axel Disasi, who is set to leave Chelsea. This has been confirmed by transfer expert Matteo Moretto, who discussed it in his latest video on Fabrizio Romano’s Italian YouTube channel.
Speaking about Milan’s interest in Axel Disasi, Matteo Moretto said:
"Milan are also working to strengthen their defence, and the name Igli Tare has focused on the most is Axel Disasi from Chelsea. We are not saying he will definitely arrive, but he is the player the sporting director has concentrated on. As you know, he is on his way out of Chelsea, who had almost completed a loan move to West Ham, but in recent hours several other clubs have entered the picture, including Milan. The player has been offered to Milan many times. Igli Tare would like to bring Disasi to Milan. At the moment, he is the easiest option."
