Through its official website, Bournemouth announced that it has signed Alex Jiménez permanently from AC Milan, meaning his card is now fully owned by the English club:
“AFC Bournemouth can confirm that Alex Jiménez has been transferred to the club on a permanent basis, having reached the required number of appearances to activate the transfer clause following his initial loan. The 20-year-old, who joined the Cherries before the start of the current season, has already taken part in more than half of the club’s official matches, triggering the terms that secure his future on the south coast until 2031.
Having arrived from Milan and developed in Real Madrid’s prestigious academy, Jiménez has made a strong impact during his time at the Vitality Stadium, becoming a regular presence and earning recognition week after week. The full-back won the club’s Player of the Month award for December and was also named Sky Sports Man of the Match in last month’s 1–1 draw with Brighton. With 22 appearances in all competitions and his first Premier League goal against Liverpool, Jiménez has made an excellent impression in the red-and-black shirt.”
