Beat Lazio to take another step toward next season’s Champions League and also move closer to Inter, who are top of the table. This is Milan’s mission tonight as they play away on the Biancocelesti’s pitch. It will be a difficult match both because the Olimpico will be full of fans and because Max Allegri will have to do without, in midfield, one of the most important players in Milan’s squad: Adrien Rabiot, who is suspended.

Jashari's turn to start for Milan
Who will replace him from the first minute against the Biancocelesti? According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the ex Juventus coach has chosen Ardon Jashari, who has won the selection battle with Samuele Ricci. In recent days the former Torino captain seemed to be the favorite to take Rabiot’s place, but in the end the Swiss player got the nod and will operate as the left mezzala in Milan’s usual 3-5-2 formation. After two consecutive games against Como and Parma, the former Club Brugge player remained on the bench for the full 90 minutes against Cremonese and Inter, so tonight represents an important opportunity for him. Alongside him will be Youssouf Fofana and Luka Modrić.
Confirmation for Estupinan
The other lineup doubt that accompanied Allegri this week was on the left flank, where Pervis Estupiñán will once again start. Last Sunday he scored the winning goal against Inter. The derby hero has won the selection battle with Davide Bartesaghi, who will therefore begin tonight’s match on the bench as well. There are no changes in the other areas of the pitch: the same defense as seven days ago with Fikayo Tomori, Koni De Winter, and Strahinja Pavlović, and the same attack with Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leão from the start. Alexis Saelemaekers is also confirmed on the right.
