According to 'SPORT', a Spanish sports newspaper close to Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen left-back Alejandro Grimaldo has attracted the attention of several European clubs due to his relatively low potential transfer fee, given the short time remaining on his contract with the German club.
Grimaldo has just one year left on his deal and could be available for less than 12 million euros. Barcelona are closely monitoring the situation, while reports from Germany, citing 'Fussballdaten', suggest that Juventus and AC Milan are also interested in the player. Grimaldo would prioritise a move to Barcelona or another Spanish La Liga club, and is waiting to see whether Barça or Atlético Madrid make a move.
This season’s performance
So far, the Spanish full-back, born in 1995 (30 years old), has played 24 matches for Leverkusen, totalling 2,074 minutes. In those appearances, he has scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists, averaging one goal or assist every 252 minutes.
