Former Rossoneri striker Oliver Bierhoff gave an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport in which he talks about the current season of AC Milan. He said the following:
"The great teams of Europe, in this particular year, have difficulties even mentally. So, if you have a good group and a certain mindset, you can transform your season which seems to be the case with Milan. The Rossoneri have determination and, at the same time, are having fun. You can see how the players are on the pitch. Zlatan Ibrahimovic can exalt with his charisma, he gives a push forward to a group that is less supported by big stars."
"This Milan has a hunger that it hasn't felt for some time. They can build something good together."
"The team survived without Ibrahimovic's presence. This means that the group works. There is euphoria and there is enthusiasm. Pioli led us to believe that nothing is impossible, that this moment should be exploited."
