Regarding the situation at the Rossoneri club, Matteo Moretto explained in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel:
"Milan has a very American way of operating, so interviews are conducted remotely, with a maximum of three rounds, and then they move on to one-on-one interviews. I know that at the moment we are at the individual interview stage, so we are approaching the final phase of this selection process. It is true that Glasner is very highly regarded, but as of today I do not feel able to say that there is a candidate close to signing. There is no deal nearing completion."
"As things stand, Glasner is the name that appeals the most and is the most convincing, but it is also important to understand what Glasner himself thinks, namely, whether the guarantees Milan will offer him are the ones the Austrian wants or not. What I can say with certainty is that there is a coach who has been linked with Milan in recent days, Arbeloa, but he is currently in advanced negotiations with Fulham."
