In the past few hours there has been a lot of talk about Milan’s interest in Morten Hjulmand, a midfielder who plays for Sporting Lisbon.
Hjulmand says goodbye to Sporting: an opening for his suitors?
From Portugal, meanwhile, an important update has arrived regarding the future of the Danish midfielder, who will almost certainly be leaving the Primeira Liga.
According to the Portuguese newspaper Record, the player born in 1999 has in fact said goodbye to both his teammates and Sporting’s coaching staff, a clear sign of an imminent departure.
Milan are there, perhaps...
As reported this morning by 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', among the clubs interested in Hjulmand there is also Milan, with Ruben Amorim being a big admirer of his since his time in Lisbon.
However, Matteo Moretto reports that the Rossoneri are not currently considering him, both because of the cost, around 40-45 million euros, and due to squad numbers. It remains to be seen which of the two versions will turn out to be correct, as relayed via Milan Press.
