Il Giornale newspaper wrote the following words for the headline to comment on AC Milan's result against Atalanta: "AC Milan stops at its best".

The Rossoneri faced an obstacle in the last few steps to reach the Champions League, a competition that Milan did not see in 8 years.

AC Milan let themselves be ensnared and trapped by Cagliari.  Now it will be up to the last game where Pioli must earn the qualification in Bergamo.

Cagliari celebrates and is saved in the hotel, thanks to Crotone's in the last minutes. Everyone is happy and celebrating. But then at San Siro they show up with the best of intentions, instead of playing in slippers as often happens in Italy, wrote the newspaper.

Rebic lacks creativity and ideas against Cagliari's defense and Leao tried to contribute but it was not enough.
